PART 3
The Players in the Prophecy of Daniel

The prophecy in the book of Daniel appears to be written in some kind of cryptic language.

By Rodney Phillips

It is impossible to totally understand because some of the events are still to come. The prophecy  of Daniel reveal an agenda that began long before the time of Daniel, some of the players he spoke of are now making their move and their actions are confirming that his prophecy is true.

IMG_0021.jpg

The prophecy in Daniel starts with an image of a man made of different metals, then a series of four animals the last being unidentifiable and then there are the horns.

These are all symbols, they represent #1 kingdoms, #2 politics and #3 religion, there are no dates for reference but the actions of each symbol give way to establishing a timeline of events.

Luke 21:29-31, Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

There are bits and pieces of end time prophecy all through the Bible that is plainly understood. Most of which revolve around societal issues. The prophecy in Daniel is about an agenda leading to a “New World Order” or a “One world Government”, however you wish to describe it.

The book of Daniel is both the roadmap and the playbook to this event!

There are no definitive identity’s or dates because if it were that simple some would do everything possible to manipulate the outcome. Because of their actions we can identify most of the players in this agenda. There is nothing to fear about revealing identities, they have come to far to turn back and believe that they are about to succeed, and thy are.

These are the players!

Daniel chapter two tells the story about a king that can’t remember his dream so he demands that his advisers tell him what the dream was and what it means. No one is able to do that so the king has them executed. When they come for Daniel, he asks for a little time and it is granted. Daniel’s God shows him that same dream. The dream is of an image, a man made of four different metals, the head was gold, the chest was silver, next was bronze then iron and last was iron and clay mixed, each metal represented a kingdom or nation. Daniel told king, Nebuchadnezzar, that He represented the head of gold, and the different metals represented different kingdoms that would come after him until a giant rock hit the feet of the image completely destroying it.  Like the dream predicted Babylon fell to the silver part of the image and Mido-Persia became the next world power. It fell to Greece or bronze and then Rome or iron. Then the image was broken up into ten kingdoms an indication that the world would not continue to be ruled by one kingdom, eventually the image would be destroyed by a rock. That rock represents the end of the world and a new kingdom would be established, it will be the kingdom of God.

The image in this dream represents the world and mans intent to rule the world and control all that is on it. Because man has such a lousy record of world domination God has to step in and change leadership. This happens because there would be parts of society that would cease to exist, primarily the people of God. So by the image we see that nations that have dominated the world fall until we have a multitude of nations, none of which rule the world. That last part of the image is made of iron and clay, chapter two verse fourty three says as you saw iron mixed with clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

Who are “they” in this text. The image in the dream reveals an agenda and the agenda is to destroy everything that is attached, resembles or reflects God, “they are the one’s that are engaged in this agenda. If you haven’t noticed “they” are all around us.

In chapter seven, Daniel has another dream, four beast, first was like a lion, it is Babylon. The second was like a bear, it is Media-Persia. The third is like a leopard, it is Greece. The forth is a beast with incredible features, dreadful and terrifying and very powerful, this beast is Rome.

He sees that these beast are huge domineering in character, they mark the beginning of the prophecy that describes the agenda to destroy Gods people.

Babylon.

It is completely appropriate that Babylon is where the prophecy begins. The name Babylon comes from the word babel as in the the Tower of Babel. The Tower of Babel was built several generations after Noah’s flood, by a man named Nimrod. Nimrod knew about the flood and the reasons that God caused it to take place. He hated God for it and wanted a world where God had no control and in his rebellion against God he started building a tower that would be higher than any flood could reach. It was during this time that God changed they way they spoke into different languages causing total confusion. The word Babylon means confusion.

The first verse of the first chapter of Daniel describes how the king of Babylon destroyed the city Jerusalem and took captives (specifically four) and the holy vessels from the temple back to Babylon. He changed their biblical names to names that represented the gods of Babylon. He fed them with food that was first presented to Babylonian gods. He built an image to himself and forced all to worship it by threat of death.

The crowning act of the Babylonian rebellion can be found in chapter five.
Daniel 5:1-4 Belshazzar the king held a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in the presence of the thousand. 2 When Belshazzar tasted the wine, he gave orders to bring the gold and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. 3 Then they brought the gold vessels that had been taken out of the temple, the house of God which was in Jerusalem; and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. 4 They drank the wine and praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.

Daniel 5:5 Suddenly the fingers of a man's hand emerged and began writing opposite the lamp stand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace, and the king saw the back of the hand that did the writing.

For this reason the king was condemned by the hand writing on the wall and that night Babylon fell to Mido-Persia.

Mido-Persia

One way to describe Mido-Persia is absolute confusion. They did have a reputation for religious tolerance, but that was only as long as taxes were paid and full acknowledgment of the Mido-Persian empire and their requirements came first.

Chapter six is the first reference Daniel gives concerning Mido-Persia after it comes to power.

Darius, the king puts Daniel in charge of a group of governors and they don’t like him, apparently he’s to honest. They conspire to have him killed, they know he is a man of honor and wont break any laws so they devise a plan to use his faith against him. They coerce the king into establishing a law that for thirty days no one can acknowledge or pray to any deity accept the king. If caught doing so the offender would be fed to the lions. They knew that Daniel prayed to the God of heaven three times a day and when he continued this practice they told the king and he was forced to put Daniel in the lions den, yet Daniel prevailed.

Artaxerxes was the Persian king that gave Nehemiah permission to rebuild Jerusalem, the king loved the Jews because of there commitment to their faith.

The people around Jerusalem were against rebuilding but after a rough start and lots of delays it was completed in a record 52 days.

In the book of Ester it would be the Persian king, Ahasureus, was coerced into ordering the total annihilation of of the Jews. But before it was to take place he learned of it, because he was king he was unable to resend his order, so he gave another order that the Jews could defend themselves and they prevailed.

Greece.

The Persian empire was the largest empire to date but would fall to Greece under Alexander the Great. Unlike the Persian empire Greece for the most part was a kingdom that reflected organization. Greece made many contributions to society that is reflected even today.
The book of Daniel only mentions Greece in chapter 8 and chapter 10, more on that later.

Rome.

Greece began to fall to the Roman Empire, however because the government of Greece was structured as individual cities it didn’t fall all at once. Rome was so intrigued by the culture of Greece that some say it was Greece that actually captured Rome.

Rome ruled the world for about 1000 years, Daniel was unable to describe this beast, it was unlike the others because it would “devour the whole earth trample it and break it into pieces “. Rome was exceptionally cruel in their conquest, in their rule, and even in there entertainment.

It was Rome that killed all male babies two years and younger in an attempt to kill Jesus and eventually it was Rome that crucified Him.

Rome would begin to fall apart as shown in Daniel’s dream of the image. After the legs of iron, or Rome, the feet and toes would become iron and clay. It would be the end of the era where the world be ruled by one nation. God would not allow that type of society to continue so he divided the nation’s but the agenda to destroy Christianity remains, that is represented by the clay, the strength of the iron is broken, the clay represents an attempt to hold it together.

Ram and the goat.

In chapter eight Daniel has another dream, this time its about a ram and a goat. The ram is first and move’s across the face of the earth but then the goat comes across the face of the earth and hits the Ram and the ram is conquered. The angel tells Daniel the ram represents Persia and the goat represents Greece.

In the previous dream Persia was represented by a bear and Greece was represented by a leopard, so why is this dream different?

The Ram and the Goat do not represent Persia and Greece as kingdoms. These two kingdoms, each, have established a very powerful and opposing influence over society, this influence will prevail all the way up until the end of time, when the stone hits the feet of the image. Because God would no longer allow the world to be dominated by one kingdom the agenda to control mankind by might would change to ideologies or politics.

These two ideologies are so intrenched in society it is impossible to miss them. They have been fighting each other for centuries, and while they hate each other it seems that one can’t survive without the other. Daniel chapter 11 refers to them as the King of the south, and the King of the North.

This is how it comes together.

Out of Persia, comes the ram which becomes the king of the south.

Out of Greece, comes the goat which becomes the king of the north.

There is nothing good about these two ideologies. In chapter ten the angel comes to Daniel to explain what is going to happen to his people at the end of time but he has been held up because he was in contention with the “the Prince of Persia”. This Prince is an evil angel that is behind the ideology that will spread through out the world. Just before the angel leaves Daniel he says he has to return to the fight against the Prince of Persia but “the Prince of Greece” is about to come. The indication is that the Prince of Greece, or it’d ideologies will be much worse than the Prince of Persia and it’s ideologies.

History tells exactly what these ideologies are.

Persia was the birthplace of Capitalism. Persia introduced the idea of the free marketplace and the taxation of that market.

Greece introduced Democracy, or a government where the majority rule.

Sounds innocent enough, but remember these two ideologies are influenced by evil and will eventually become totally out of control. The NIV translation puts it this way, Daniel 8:23 “In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked…

The demise of the King of the North and the King of the South.

Capitalism was once about free markets where anyone could participate, now it’s about monopolies. It’s a handful of very powerful people controlling the marketplace to become mega wealthy. Daniel 11:8 says this about the king of the south, And he shall also carry their gods captive to Egypt, with their princes and their precious articles of silver (or money) and gold (this word can be translated as oil).

They determine what you will buy and how you will buy it. They control income and repress not just individuals but whole societies and even nations. They influence governments to make laws to force the direction of the marketplace in their favor. Lawmakers will do so willingly because they own their stock. Stock markets are being controlled by media hype, good or bad, and millions are made in an afternoon. How greedy will these people be? Covid is man made, and when it was released billions of dollars were made from it. There is no end to what these people will do to capitalize.

Democracy sounds like a good idea, people governing themselves. It could work if everyone was considerate of those around them, that kind of consideration was not what Democracy was based on. Consideration of others comes from a Godly mindset. The Greeks had no interest in that kind of thinking. Their religion was Humanism, everything revolves around me. My thoughts belong to me, I am responsible only to me, I am accountable to no one, I am my own god. They determined that they were in charge of their own destiny.

Democracy leads to a communalism. Everyone is equal so everyone should have the same things regardless, communalism is a polite word for socialism. When socialism is no longer sustainable it becomes communism, when communism is no longer sustainable it leads to war.

This idea of communalism did not start in Greece. It began in Heaven with Lucifer. He determined that He should be able to live any way he wanted without consequence. And it should be the same for any that wanted to join him. His idea was, there is enough to go around. When he coerced our first parents to join him something happened perhaps he didn’t consider. God drove Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden, away from the tree of life. God was showing the universe that He would not sustain a world full of evil indefinitely.

While God is not willing to sustain evil he is also not willing to allow this world to implode before its time.

Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree.
Revelation 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,
Revelation 7:3 saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads." The 144,000

When the two are combined, Greed with Humanism it will become a competition of insanity, it will establish a mindset of only the strongest will survive.

The Glorious Land.

There is another kingdom, it’s not part of the image in Daniel chapter two, its only reference is in Daniel chapters eight and eleven, it is rarely talked about.

Daniel refers to it as “the Glorious Land”. According to the Bible, this nation has three very distinct characteristics!

#1 it is “very young”.
#2 it is “very free”.
#3 it has “amassed a great military”.

While it doesn’t say so biblically, it wouldn’t be hard to see that it is also very wealthy.

This will be the last free, influential nation on the earth.

That nation as described can be no other nation than the United States.

The United States is a nation that was founded on freedom, freedom for all, consideration for all, freedom to worship how you want, if you want. It established a Bill of Rights and a Constitution to guarantee freedom, America is not a Democracy it is a Republic.

It is the nation that is standing in the way of the One World Government.

Destruction of the Glorious Land!

Daniel chapter 11 is the summation of chapters 7-10. The first half of chapter eleven talks about the ideologies of the ram and the goat only now they are referred to as the king of the south (ram) and the king of the north (goat). It reveals the hatred they have toward one another. One side is always trying to advance it’s ideology over the other. Eventually the king of the north will win!

There is however something standing in the way of a One World Government and that is the Glorious Land.  Chapter eight describes the ideology of the goat as sweeping across the face of the earth overpowering the ideology of the ram, chapter eleven confirms that. The last part of chapter eleven verse sixteen says, that the king of the north is going to come against the Glorious Land with the intent to destroy it.

While violence is certain this is not a physical battle where one country is going to be conquered by another, this is a battle of ideologies. Based on what we know about the King of the Norths extreme humanistic ideas and what this country is currently experiencing we can confirm it is from the King of the North, the values that America were built on are being attacked.

The Daughters of Women

The last part of verse 17 says that the “Daughters of Women” were given him (the King of the North) to help to destroy, but they were not for him. It is quite probable that the “Daughters of Women” is a reference to the legal system. The symbol of the legal system is a young woman wearing a blindfold holding up a set of scales. This symbol dates back to Ancient Greece.

It appears that the efforts to destroy the Glorious land by the King of the North have failed but not without out considerable damage. Verse eighteen says that a person of strength, one that respects the values of the Glorious Land will drive away the King of the North.

What follows him is someone that will send an “oppressor” or tax collector through out the richest part of the nation. This is a continuation of the ideology of the King of the North but it says after a short time he to will be crushed.

These two ideologies, greed and humanism now have control of the world. The middle part of Daniel 8:23 says “when the transgressors have run their course”. When the king of the north and the king of the south have reached the pinnacle of absurdity, they will have pushed the world into chaos, the last part of verse 23 says “A king will arise, Insolent and skilled in intrigue.” He is the Little Horn.

The Little Horn.

He will claim to have the answers and the ability to fix the problems the world faces. He will be swept into power as the world leader.

He will confront the issues that plague the world.

#1 He will crush those who's politics divide the world and result in war.
#2 He will take control of wealth and the things that create wealth.
#3 He will do away with religious freedom and establish himself as the religious leader.

The Antichrist

The Little Horn and the Antichrist are one in the same, he represents Religion. He doesn’t represent Christianity, chapter eight says he is also from this humanistic ideology that is absent of God.

What the Bible says about the Antichrist.

#1 He is referred to as the Little Horn, The Lawless One, The Son of Perdition.

#2 He, or the agenda he represents has been in existence for century’s. He is called the Son of Perdition he is an offspring or the next leader of the cause. Daniel 11:38 says he will honor a god his fathers didn’t know.

#3 He is a master at deception. Daniel 8:23 says he is “Insolent and skilled in intrigue”.
Verse 25 says “through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; And he will magnify himself in his heart, And he will destroy many while they are at ease (thinking they are out of his reach).

#4 2 Thessalonians 2:4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

Daniel 7:25 says he will make changes to times (Sabbath) and Gods law (commandments) .

Daniel 8:11 He even exalted himself as high as (or equal to) the Prince (Jesus) of the host; and by him the daily (Sabbath) were taken away, and the place of His () sanctuary was cast down.

#5 Daniel 8:25 says "His power will be mighty, but not by his own power, And he will destroy to an extraordinary (or miraculously) degree And prosper and perform his will”.

2 Thessalonians 2:9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

Revelation 13:13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.

Revelation 13:14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform….

#6 Daniel 11:37 He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.

#7 Matthew 24:15 "Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

More on #6 and #7 to come.

Daniel 11:28 says he will will come against the Holy Covenant but Gods people will be ready for this fight, verse 30 says the ships of Chittim shall come against him, they will put up a great battle but they will not prevail.

Daniel 11:40 says “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he (Little Horn) shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape (does not mean they got away, they were already his ally) from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon ( nations that are anti God). 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver (oil and money), and over all the precious things of Egypt (Egypt represents great wealth); also the Libyans and Ethiopians (represent the poorest of the poor) shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain (establish himself between all of humanity and God); yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

The Ten Horns?

The Bible doesn’t give much information on the ten horns. Here’s what it does say.

Revelation 17:12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. 13 “These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast”.

The “one hour” represents a very short period of time at the end of time.

Daniel chapter seven also says these ten horns that are part of this end time scenario. It says that the Little Horn comes up later and will “subdue” three of the ten. The word subdue does not mean to annihilate, in context it means they will lose the strength of their influence to the little horn. Because of the actions of the little horn it is not unreasonable to assume who or what these three horns represent. The first two would be the Kings of the South and North, they are identified as horns in Daniel chapter 8, they are also the ones that push society into revolt. The third horn would be religion, this, because he sets himself up as a great religious leader, “changing times and laws”, he changes the law of God. The first part of chapter eleven Verse forty one says he will plant the tents of his palace between the seas (people) and the glorious Holy Mountain (God).

The full agenda.

Revelation tells us that the prophecy of Daniel is a culmination of things that are part of a much larger picture.

Revelation 12:3 says “And another sign appeared in heaven; behold a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his heads, verse four says the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her child as soon as it was born”. That child represents true Christianity.

Revelation 13:1 I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.
3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast;

The seven heads represent the seven kingdoms spoken of in Daniel. One of the heads was severely wounded but healed. The word healed doesn’t mean got well and went on as usual, it means it became part of the same agenda as the other heads, (this is the result of the attack on the Glorious Land or the United States) this will unite the world and the agenda can now complete the agenda.

Revelation 17:9,10 says “Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. ( again this is a reference to the Glorious Land)

These are the seven kingdoms, #1 Babylon, #2 Mido-Persia, #3 Greece, #4 Rome, #5 nations who’s ideologies are based on capitalism, #6 the nations who’s ideologies are based on Humanism and #7 the Glorious Land or United States.

Revelation 13 goes on to say,  Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform….

Revelation 17:11 says “The beast (or Dragon) which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven… The beast spoken of here is satan himself.

The question still remains, who are the remaining 7 horns? Revelation 17:12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.13 These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast... 14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them…

The horns are clearly part of the world wide agenda to destroy Christianity it would not be difficult to suspect organizations like the United Nations, organized atheism, religions that don’t acknowledge God would certainly apply, the World Health organization. We won’t know for sure who they all represent until we get closer to the end of time.

The Last Rebellion!

The whole world will be mesmerized, Revelation 13:4 says they worshiped the dragon (or satan) because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”

The last player.

Revelation 17:1-6 introduces crowning act of rebellion, the great harlot. “Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her immorality.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, 5 and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

The great harlot represents the doctrine of satan himself, it was best defined by the famous occultist Alastair Crowley when he said, “do what thou wilt”.

The book of Jude says it this way.
“In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” 19 These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. Jude 1:18-19

The crowing act of rebellion is #6 and #7.

The crowning act of the rebellion will be when the Antichrist has taken control of the world, he will have no respect for those that have gone before him, he will arrogantly place himself above all of humanity. He will crush the established relationship between man and woman that God Himself has ordained. By his actions he will fulfill the prophecy of the abomination of desolation.
Some translations say “the abomination that makes desolate”.

It all comes crashing down!

Revelation 17:16 “And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire.

The ten horns and the seven beasts realize the dragon or satan has lied to them but its to late.

Revelation 14:8,,, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality."

At that time the evidence will be complete and God and His Law will be vindicated.

Daniel 12:1… and at that time Michael shall stand up and there will be a time of trouble that is unimaginable.

The four winds will be released.

The Exodus.

Currently in the United States there is an Exodus from states like New York and California. People are moving away from these states because it is getting to be impossible to live there with the ideologies they have embraced. When they arrive at their new destination they are warned to leave those ideologies behind.

This is an excellent example of the coming kingdom of heaven. Those that want to be a part of it must abandon the ideologies of this earth, and they must do it now!

If Gods way is not your way then heaven is not in your future!
